Life is such a ride. I'm buckled in tight and holding on with all my might. Thank you guys for all the emails and phone calls checking on me. I'm cool ;) Things are working themselves out and with the support from all my wonderful friends and family, things are bearable and I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Speaking of "light," I also saw stars 3 nights ago when I tripped on the kids wagon that I'm sure wheeled itself (right) in the walkway from the porch to my truck. I was sure someone had just taken me down and out. That I would never see my kids again. I've never hit the ground that hard in my life. You know you've fallen hard when you're sandals have been knocked completely off of your feet. Fun times, let me tell ya ;)
On another note, Dad learned yesterday that the right side of his heart isn't working like it should and that he has a 60% blockage in one of the "important" arteries. Yes, "important" is a medical term. It is today anyways. His instructions on mending his heart: eat better and exercise. Don't you wish it was litterally that easy to mend all "broken" hearts?
I'm going to leave you with a "thought of the day." I've managed to retain the majority of my sense of humor through the last month and figured I would share this email I recieved. It's so my sense of humor and SO something I would do ;) Don't even sit there and think it's gross. You know you've been there. Don't deny it. I don't. So, dwell on this till my next post:
You are on the bus when you suddenly realize? you need to fart.
The music is really loud, so you time your farts with the beat.
After a couple of songs, you start to feel better as you approach your stop.
As you are leaving the bus, people are really staring you down, and that's when you remember: you've been listening to your ipod.

I don't know what it is life has thrown at you, but I am glad that you are hanging in there and keeping your sense of humor. I've always thought that there is nothing better to get you through hard times than a good support system of family and friends, and the ability to laugh. I was happy to see new posts, ever since you took pics of my family last year I have been a regular follower ;)
