Our world changed forever on June 10, 2010 at 11:45am as we welcomed Isla Ryan into our lives.
We knew the date. We knew the time. But no amount of mental preparation can prepare you for the moment you hear your baby's first cry. The moment that, after all the worrying you did the past nine months, you realize she's perfect. The moment you realize how truly blessed you are.
Isla made her big entrance weighing 8lb 5oz and 20 1/4 in long. She looks like her Daddy. Daddy's nose. Daddy's ears. Daddy's lips. Even his underturned pinky toe (thanks Daddy :). She's perfect.
I'm thankful beyond words for my life. For Logan, my best friend. For Anna Lynn, Tripp, and now our precious little Isla. I'm thankful that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me enough to bless me with all I have in this life.
Isla, Mommy and Daddy love you more than words can say. You are a true blessing to our family...in ways you will understand one day. You are perfect. We can't wait to watch you grow into the beautiful little girl we know you will be. We can't wait to see you and your big sister and brother grow up together. We pray that life will be good to you and that you will be strong spiritually, emotionally, and physically to take whatever this big and crazy world throws at you. Stand strong in all you do. Always do what's right. Take life's challenges and learn from them. It's ok to cry, but get back up and push forward. Always know that you have a family who will love you no matter what. But most importantly, always know that you have a Heavenly Father who loves you no matter what.

Beautiful pictures of your precious daughter, Dee! How blessed Isla is to come to such a wonderful and loving family! You guys are awesome and we are so happy for you! I got to hold Isla yesterday and I can agree with the proud Mama - she IS perfect! She is beautiful and we know she'll bring you and Logan joy beyond measure. Congratulations! I can't wait so watch Isla and Luke grow up together...
